Youth Tournament
The youth tournament was divided into two divisions, Beginner and Advanced.
The Beginners had a clinic, then a tournament that crowned Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists.
The Advanced group played a Scramble tournament with individual winners, then a Doubles best-of-three match. All the competition was high-level and evenly matched.
Congratulations to all the winners of the tournaments!

Kobla Tetey - Tournament Organizer
Kobla is the lead pickleball pro at Lifetime Fitness South Austin. A highly-rated doubles and singles pickeball player, Kobla regularly participates in tournaments around Texas. He also organizes tournaments for Lifetime, and did a great job running the Youth and Adult tournaments for Juneteenth + Pickleball!

Adult Tournament
The adult tournament was primarily made up of the pickleball community that plays regularly at Rosewood Park. Both beginners and advanced tournaments were held on Saturday morning, June 14, at Rosewood. All activities were in coordination with the Rosewood Park Juneteenth activities held that day. The winners of the Advanced tournament went on to "Play with the Pros" on Juneteenth (see video above for a collection of the top 6 points from those matches.)
